Its awesome when....

I'm at the drive-thru at the bank making the deposit for work and I drop the plastic canister as I am trying to get it in the car. The tellers laugh at me. Then I have to back up the car, get out and pick up the canister. Get back in the car, pull back up and finish my transaction.

I am awesome.

To explain...

To explain my previous short post, I was at work and went to the ladies room. Most of you know where I work so I won't mention where because I don't do that on this blog. Anyway, it was a rather slow day and there weren't many people around.

The restroom is in an area where anyone off the street could walk into..hence the term PUBLIC RESTROOM!! I walked in and as I turned the corner to go to the stalls I hear a large bang which was the door to the first stall being slammed shut. The occupant had come to the realization that it was a PUBLIC RESTROOM and someone public (me) had just walked in. It took her about 3 times of slamming said door to actually get it locked. And she sounded ticked off that she had to shut the door in the first place.

Hello????? Its a PUBLIC RESTROOM. Of course, the PUBLIC are going to be coming in here even if you don't think so.

Weird.

**PS. The lady in question was in the middle of her..business when I walked in.

Why would you...

leave the bathroom stall door unlocked and open in a public restroom even if you think no one else will walk in?

People are weird.

Polling Along

There is finally a new poll along the sidebar. Please read the previous post first so you know what I'm talking about.

Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda

Do you ever have one of those days where you say shoulda, woulda, coulda? I feel like that sometimes and I thought it would be a clever post title even though I am not planning to blog about any regrets, it just sounded cool.

The other day I went to the Post office to mail a birthday package to my friend VR. I knew that she would LOVE what I got her so I was waiting ever so patiently to hear from her if she had received said present. I went to the post office after hours, as I usually do because I don't want to talk to anyone. Not that I'm antisocial but I hate talking to people at the post office. I think I am crazy. Besides, if you have to stand in a line with strangers then THEY want to talk to you and I don't really care if you're mailing a package to your great aunt. Because I'm mean like that. So I used my new best friend the Automated Postage Center or APC. I LOVE the APC. You can weigh your packages and letters, get postage for them, get stamps and mail everything without ever having to talk to a human being! A dream come true. Imagine my surprise when VR told me the post office is holding her package ransom until she appears before them and coughs up .34 cents! WHAT? I used your freaking machine and you still charge the person on the other end because YOUR machine messed up? What? Grr. Not happy about that in the least.

Speaking of not wanting to talk to people, I actually had to yesterday to get the phone book from my old smashed-in-the-car-door cell phone transferred to my new cell phone. I actually had to walk into the Sprint store, talk to the people and explain what I wanted. Every time previous to this when I got a new phone I would enter all the numbers myself. I told myself this was a good time to weed out new numbers. The real reason was because I didn't want to go to the store and talk to anyone. But I actually went there yesterday and did it! I was super proud of myself. Now I just have to call and get my internet on the new phone working. I'm still gathering up my courage for that one.

I also order pizza online to avoid having to talk to anyone on the phone. I love e-mailing my primary care doctor because then I don't have to call his office and talk to stupid people.

I sound a little crazy right now don't I?

Its about to get better.

I was talking to a friend the other night who is equally as obsessed with the Twilight movie and we agreed that it would be fun sometime to figure out how many lines all of the characters have except the two main characters. So last week, while Mom was gone to KC, I watched Twilight again. But I had my spreadsheet with me. It had the names of all the characters in one column and then I would use hash marks in the next column to count how many lines each character had. Then I e-mailed the completed product to my friend because I am nice like that and now she doesn't have to do that work for herself.

See?

I told you it would get better.

Happy Easter and I bought more books.

Happy Easter to every one and I hope its a memorable one for each of you. I am so thankful for the promise of an empty tomb and that we can be resurrected and live as families again after this life.

On another, completely unrelated note, I went to the bookstore earlier this week and bought 3 books. I just can't stay away. I bought the newest Harry Dresden book, Turn Coat, by Jim Butcher, the newest in the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull and Angels and Demons by Dan Brown so I can have it read before the movie hits theatres this summer. I own it somewhere but I don't remember packing it..maybe I lent it to someone. It could be anywhere at this point so I just bought another one.

I know I am crazy.

Have a great day!

Bloggering is hard

Sometimes I feel like bloggering and sometimes I don't.
I found out that my place of employment is closing for renovations so I will have my current job until about the 10th of July. Then I will move and find a new one which I am kind of excited about.

I feel like there are a couple of options that I could do but I wonder if they are feasible at this stage of my life. Am I too old to go back to school and finish at least a degree so I can get a better job with more marketable skills? I would like to graduate from college sometime in my lifetime. It appears that I will be supporting myself (thanks mom and dad for your help always!) for my life so I need to be better prepared.

Do I go at night and finish in like 5 years or pay COBRA insurance for the next 18 months and get as much done as I can?

Does anyone have an opinion? Thoughts? Would love to hear them.
