So I've decided that moving is almost a full time job. Tonight I have been sitting at the computer since I got home about 4:30. I have been created my resume and filling out various applications on some hospital sites in Georgia. I also uploaded my resume on Monster. Oh Joy. I am glad we have internet again at home because this will make the process go much faster I believe.
I'm also working on going through a lot of my things that I haven't looked at in ages. Lots of memories and lots of pack-rat tendencies. I keep a lot of stuff but some of it is too precious to let go of. Someday I need to find a good way to store/display/use it so that it doesn't sit in boxes for another 5 years.
But I am getting more and more excited to move. I finally told my boss today and she took it very well. I think she is sad to see me go but understands. I asked if I could use her for a reference and she said yes. I was so glad. I was nervous to tell her but it turned out all right in the end.
