A day at the aquarium and the zoo

My sister, Liz, is visiting from Boise with her husband to celebrate our 10 year kidney anniversary. We are having a fun time and I am enjoying my time with her and with her husband. Today we went, along with Mom and Dad, to the Georgia Aquarium which is here in Atlanta. It is the world's largest aquarium and it was very cool! We saw whale sharks which can grow up to 30 feet. the aquarium currently has 5 of these. We saw 3 beluga whales which were really fun to watch. We also saw some really weird looking things like Japanese Crabs and Moon Jellyfish which have no brain, heart or eyes. It was a really cool thing to go and see and I liked it more than I thought I would. I would highly recommend it to anyone who comes to town.

Then we went to the Atlanta Zoo and had a great time there too. There were the normal zoo animals but the gorillas had 4 babies and we watched them for a long time. It wasn't very crowded or hot so that made for a nice day. I am glad that we went to both places and had a fun time!
