Harry Potter Update

My friend, Emily, wondered if she had heard that HBP had moved back to November but according to Mugglenet no such luck and they would have been the first to announce it I am sure.
However, we will be able to get Tales of Beedle the Bard on December 4th, 2008 to hopefully help us make it to July. :-) You can see the pre-order information on Amazon here. It says if you pre-order you can get it for $7.59. Just an FYI!

A New Hope

Twilight fans of the world unite! Due to Harry Potter moving from November 21st to July, Twilight the movie will now come out on November the 21st! yeah! I am totally excited!

Polling Along

I decided to end the Fall Poll early in light of my previous blog and finding out that the new Harry Potter movie is coming out in July of 09 instead of in a few short months in November of 08. Let me know how you feel about it or leave a comment here.

WHAT????????

The new Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has pushed back the opening day until NEXT SUMMER? OH, the inhumanity, the unmitigated gall!!!!!!! I was really, really, really, really looking forward to seeing that this fall in just a few months now I have to wait a whole year.

And why, you ask, are they doing this? Did Daniel Radcliffe fall down and break something? Did they need more post production time? No..more money. That is the only reason. A slot "opened up" in the summer so they took it. Do they need more money? No. Would the movie have done well in November? Yes.

GRRRR...

If you don't believe me go here for the whole awful story.

Sigh.
