An update about most everything and nothing at all...
Today I spent 2 hours, yes you read that right, 2 hours in traffic. A frozen chicken truck caught fire (I wonder how that happened) right in the middle of spaghetti junction (main artery feed of ATL) on I-285 so traffic was horrific everywhere. I was not happy and I was 45 minutes late to work. By the time I knew that the road I was taking was going to be so bad it was too late to do anything about it so I just sat.
My nephew, little G, is still as cute as ever. More pictures forthcoming..soon on the blog. He is just so cute I can't stand it.
I leave on Thursday afternoon to fly to Savannah and visit my cousin for a long weekend. I get there about 7:30pm on Thursday night and I leave at 12:30pm on Monday afternoon so I can hopefully get home before the rush hour. I am planning to take the MARTA down to the airport and then ride it back when I get home. I had contemplated parking down by the airport but I'll save gas this way. And its a good thing to save gas.
There is a shortage of gas in Atlanta because we have to have cleaner burning gas and that is hard to come by apparently. So weird to drive by gas stations and they have no gas.
I'm still a chicken about going to single activities. Just call me Colonel Sanders.
I'm eating lunch right now.
I have been downloading a video for work since 10am and its only 21% downloaded. The status box says I have 11hr and 50 minutes to go. Fun times.
I think I'm addicted to reading blogs. I'm even a blog stalker..that is sad and scary. :-)
Well, that is pretty much it from me right now. Loves to you all and I'll blog at you later.

2 new blogs that are hysterical
I found 2 new blogs to waste time, I mean read, that I think all of you would like.
The first comes from the very lovely and talented RCH and its called Seriously So Blessed which is a parody of some of the Mormon culture things you find on blogs. Including lots of !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-) So check it out! Remember this is just good plain fun!
The second comes from my cousin's wife (cousin in law I guess) MomZoo. It is called It's Lovely, I'll Take it. This gem features pics from realty websites from people who are trying to sell property. It was soooooo funny. Check that one out too!
Have fun.

The Terrorists Can't Win...
Hey Internet its me. I've been feeling kind of down but I decided that I really can't stop writing. When I decided to stop a thousand ideas popped into my head which is kind of weird and random isn't it? I thought so.
The title of this post comes from a dear friend of mine who left a comment on my previous post. Jared said, "Kainty, if you stop writing the terrorists win." It made me laugh out loud to read that and remember that I am human. Thanks to all of you that wrote and reminded me of that fact. Mistakes happen but I have to move on and also forgive myself. Nobody is perfect.
A couple of other things popped into my head while I've been evaluating this situation. One is a line from one of my favorite movies, Where the Heart Is. One of the main characters says to another, "We've all got meanness in us." Yes, yes we do.
Also, the lyrics to part of a Garth Brooks song seems quite apropos during this past week and something I should remember about myself.
She's sun and rain,
She's fire and ice.
Alittle crazy but its nice.
And when she gets mad
you best leave her alone.
'Cause she'll rage just like a river
And she'll beg you to forgive her.
I've already done the begging part and I just hope its enough. Thanks again to all my friends and family and for your love. I love you guys.

Apparently
I can't write my feelings on my blog without getting hatred spewed at me or having my comments become a battle ground for political sparring so I think I'll not write for a bit. I need a break from the drama that I inadvertantly started. I wanted only to stick up for my friends but ended up hurting everyone. So that's that.
PS Just because I'm a seminary teacher doesn't mean I'm perfect...
