Lectures on Faith is a great book to learn more about Faith in our lives and how it operates. I took an Institute class where all we did was study this book for an entire summer and I learned so much from that summer. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand more about faith. It can be a little deep but well worth the time it takes to read it.
"Let us here observe, that three things are necessary in order that any rational and intelligent being may exercise faith in God unto life and salvation. First, the idea that he actually exists. Secondly, a correct idea of his character, perfections and attributes. Thirdly, an actual knowledge that the course of life which he is pursuing is according to his will."
It really is a wonderful book to have in your gospel library.
