A bridge update

So I just found out that one of Missouri's senators, Sam Graves, is trying to get KDOT not to close the I-635 bridge while the Missouri River bridge (AKA the Paseo Bridge) is closed. I am very excited about this because it only makes sense to me.

As one of the people who has to cross the river everyday to go to work I am very glad that someone who has a little more clout is going to address the need to keep as many bridges open as possible while the Paseo is under construction.

Its a good day.

I hope it doesn't damper your excitement, but it makes sense to me too...

Yeah! Public action at work - amazing!

I still think you should brave the Broadway at least *once*, to find out if you can save yourself 15 mintues of extra driving time everyday...

Uh-oh...the news is now reporting that Kansas is going to go ahead with the bridge closing...Northland drivers be shafted!!

Looks like you will have to drive the Broadway Bridge like the rest of us schmucks.
