So I just found out that one of Missouri's senators, Sam Graves, is trying to get KDOT not to close the I-635 bridge while the Missouri River bridge (AKA the Paseo Bridge) is closed. I am very excited about this because it only makes sense to me.
As one of the people who has to cross the river everyday to go to work I am very glad that someone who has a little more clout is going to address the need to keep as many bridges open as possible while the Paseo is under construction.

You mean they may actually do the right thing in KANSAS? Is that possible?
Uh-oh...the news is now reporting that Kansas is going to go ahead with the bridge closing...Northland drivers be shafted!!
Looks like you will have to drive the Broadway Bridge like the rest of us schmucks.
