The Status of Things

Life is good. That seems to be a great status to be in and one that I enjoy quite immensely. This last Wednesday I went to the temple and it was definitely something I needed. Seminary has been going well but sometimes I walk out wondering if I've just been talking to myself during the 30 minutes that I teach. I know that they are listening so I shouldn't get down on myself.

I was listening to a set of talk CD's the other day and the speaker challenged that we not say anything negative about ourselves or others to anyone strangers or not. That's been rolling around in my head and I realize that I do that more than I should and I know its not something that I want in my thoughts. I want to speak with the tongue of angels and really celebrate who I am and how grateful I am for the life that I lead.

I have two trips up ahead of me for the spring and I am really looking forward to both of them. In April I will fly to Salt Lake City to attend a 3 day manager's seminar. It will be great to be with those who have the same job I do and get inspiration from our leaders. I also hope to see some family and friends (HINT HINT RCH and Mrs. McMitchell) so we can catch up. In May I am flying to Kansas City to see family, friends and attend Wicked the musical. I was supposed to be going to see my brother graduate from college but he still needs a couple of credits so his graduation has been delayed. I decided to go anyway and have a little vacation before the crazy summer season starts here at work. So I hope to see as many people as I can in the short time I am there. Let's party people!

Life is good and I'm glad I'm here.

So, when are you coming to Chicago? I do have some 20 days of vacation this year, but I don't think we can get away in May.

hair,
when should I come? That would be totally RAD to come and hang out in Chicago. I have some time off in July. :-)

I had heard that tickets to Wicked were all sold out. Which makes me very sad as I wanted to go.

Just squeeze a little time for me so we can do lunch!

D'oh! Sorry! I keep meaning to write back but I haven't had time to do anything but wash bottles and try to eat between fits of crying and bouts of napping. EEK! I think I might have to call you instead or something. Yeah...I'll call you, m'kay? :) *MWAH!* Love you!
